  1. Fully moved from iphone13 pro to a Pixel8a with GOS. Now the iphone can stay at home and be my emergency secondary phone.

  2. So now - I have no google or microsoft accounts. And an apple account on a switched off iphone. No uber, no spotify. But yes, dependent on MS for duckduckgo, on Google for the Pixel, and on Apple for a macbook (also without the apple account). Being aware that even for enhanced privacy, i am still dependent on big tech does keep me grounded. :slight_smile:

  3. Comparentalisation: 2 work sims both in the iphone, turned off. One secret sim, just for banking, used on the Pixel. Work whatsapp account on the pixel, isolated, and turned off after work hours.

The trial and error with the pixel took some effort though. Being able to buy phones just for privacy and compartmentalisation is quite a privilege, really.
