Win: Disabled IPv6 in all computers.
Recommended :if posible disable it at the router level
Reasons:
-
IPv6 can expose individual devices directly to the internet without the protection of Network Address Translation (NAT), which is commonly used in IPv4. This means that each device can be tracked more easily, leading to potential privacy violations and security vulnerabilities.
-
IPv6 addresses can include parts that identify the device’s MAC address, making it easier for entities to track specific devices and their activities online.
-
The transition to IPv6 is not fully realized, leading to inconsistencies and potential security risks.

EDIT: been away, sorry for late edit.
I only disable it on computers (since most mobile phones lack the ability anyway) after I heard Windows TCP/IP Remote Code Execution Vulnerability before switching to Linux. things work without a hitch so the habit stuck. just make sure to weigh pros and cons.
