I use Launch Chat from F-Droid now instead of granting Whatsapp access to my contact list. This way I can keep my contact list private from now on and this is part of my “fresh setup” on my new Calyx OS phone I mentioned in last week’s win. Will update if I come accross any hard inconveniences using this method : )
