Well, techncially no. But I would imagine and I’m pretty sure it would work like any other holiday or event calendars you may add to your own from the service you use. It’ll be like a national or state holiday calendar for your region that countries and local governments have. Same principle.
It is indeed possible. You just need to be careful and only add events when it’s confirmed and whatnot so it shows up on everyones end and they can make time for it if they want.

I used to do this in college (with teams in classes) and other friends who could not make time or respond to messages on time so I could simply make an event and add so it’s automatically shared with people who live by their calendars so they are aware of what’s happenening when if they wanted to join. Better than any alternative, I’ve found.
