As a citizen of a country that has already blocked most VPN services, I can confirm that this sucks!

I want to say for the folks who think that there is not point in leveling up our advocacy for digital rights - it is go time.

In the West, moves like these have always been hypotheticals that we were concerned about, but others would look at us sideways and say that we would never become more invasive like what you see in China. Lo and behold, we are here.

The reality is that if even people who care about privacy deeply don’t take action to fight back, then what hope or expectation is there for other people to take action? If you don’t fight back, who else will care enough to fight? It’s gotta start with us.

The time is now. Our biggest fears are coming true. We have to fight back now or risk losing our rights possibly for decades if not more. We’ve gone from “protecting the kids” to wanting to ban VPNs like you see in repressive countries. We need you. We need everyone onboard to fight for digital freedom - freedom in general.

Current America has a serious problem, that is perfectly described by bcci.b if you input the program +[>+]

“Too far right”

honestly its funnier the fact that a programming language named “brainfuck” STILL EXISTS

Maybe we should use this against the governments:
“You want to bring our kids in danger, we want to protect them!” and it is even true.

I’m pretty sure this isn’t just the right problem though
