Whofi: the Wifi that spies on you

More new tech than can identify you biometrically without your consent, using wifi patterns. I wonder who Whofi’s first corporate or government customers will be? WhoFi tracks people by reading Wi-Fi disturbances, offering camera-free surveillance with worrying accuracy | TechRadar

I have, in fact, heard of this WhoFi system. It’s a proof of concept, but this may be implemented on a lot of unsuspecting victims of surveillance.

Just for Friday afternoon fun, does anyone have thoughts on what the counter-surveillance technology might be to evade wifi-wave-imaging surveillance? It’s like an arms race. Or like bacterial evolution of resistance to antibiotics. Every surveillance technology spawns counter-surveillance technology, which spawns more surveillance tech. I’m rooting for the counter-surveillance underdogs.

That I’m not qualified to talk about, because I just focus on what I do.
