Hey, I’m looking for a flash card app. The best what I found is AnkiDroid. But i see on Exodus it has a lot of permissions. εxodus
Am I fine if just remove all permissions. Or are there better alternatives?
Hi! I would personally say AnkiDroid is the best flashcard app on android, but looking at Alternativeto there are some should you want to take a look.
AnkiDroid is Foss so I wouldn’t worry all that much about it doing anything weird. The mic permission is a weird one, my guess is that it’s for adding audio to flash cards if you make them yourself.
I think having lots of permissions isn’t weird in and of itself, if the app does indeed need them. If your calculator or something is asking for your camera and location, then that is weird and unnecessary lol.
