What will happen to my usb encryption if Veracrypt got deleted?

I want to use Veracrypt to encrypt my usb but iam afraid to lose its contents if i had to re-install Windows or Veracrypt got deleted, What would happen to my usb??

So long as the VeraCrypt partition or file remains intact on the USB, the host device is irrelevant. You should be able to decrypt your files using any copy of VeraCrypt on any device, as it’s cross-platform.
