I have not used any of these services other than Google Drive and Proton Drive, so my answer will be very limited in that scope.
But generally, I’d recommend compartmentalizing your cloud storage based on activities:
- You could have Proton Drive or any cloud provider with Cryptomator for personal and private files that don’t require collaboration
- For more generic stuff that require collaboration (not private files I suppose) you could use any cloud provider PAIRED with you constantly being aware of what you upload, given that these services can pretty much see everything you share with them.
So, to put this into better perspective and practicality, here’s my setup:
- Proton Drive for private and personal files
- Google Drive for when I need to download files that my my colleagues share - so work, school, business related
