If ads are truly privacy respecting, transparent, and not misleading, then I guess there’s nothing morally wrong with them. However, I want complete and absolute control over my devices, and I will continue to block these ads because I don’t want to see them.
I can’t link it here, but a German court once ruled that consumers have the right to decide what is displayed on their device. Why should I voluntarily display ads on my PC when they don’t add to the experience?
