We know that Google had prompted their AI to encourage diversity in prompts (likely just through telling it to generate images of multiple races, not some race detection and regeneration thing).
However, as I said, the more important issue is diversity in AI training data. We have to recognize the biases of AI and actually address the root issue, not try to apply shortsighted fixes.
