yeah, you make a good point with the access google would have to the phone. that’s the whole reason i went with Graphene to begin with. and since it’s worked really well, i guess it doesn’t make much sense to ditch it. while i’m not worried about targeted attacks or anything, i just don’t like giving up much of my data.
could i create a google account and use it for like maps and sign in with google without providing too much data? right now i use maps without an account, which is fine, but i miss being able to add places i wanna go to and favorite places and not have to remember and search for a place every time i wanna use it. and i was surprised to learn that google’s single sign on was a good thing, and wouldn’t mind using it for its convenience. or would doing these things not be wise on Graphene, despite google being sandboxed on Graphene?
