Thinking about ditching GrapheneOS to get better hardware

yeah, this is why i like Graphene, because i can kill the location anytime, and at the application level, too, if i want. although i’m not sure if stock Android gives you that option either, i’ve never used Android except for with Graphene. so usually i keep my location off until i need the maps for navigation. none of my apps have location access.
but yeah, if that wasn’t an option with Graphene, there’s a lot of options to identify users. i realize that 99% of us aren’t of real interest to Google or anyone else, except for the data to train their models and target us for ads. but that in and of itself is annoying, and not right.
