This entire business space seems like a minefield of ‘fair use or not fair use’ that will likely be steam rolled by large tech companies who will throw lawyers at the problem.

But I do not see how Brave’s involvement in it is more sus than Bing or Google…?

I’m not a fan of Brave and generally find them to be a little too aggressive in trying to find sneaky ways to make money but this example just does not seem any different from what everyone else is doing. Doesn’t make it right, just makes it odd to single out a comparatively tiny offender like Brave.

not really but it is like apple calling themself green brave big selling points is privacy & it looks like they don’t care about that
