Why is Brave a dubious brand? I see a lot of reviews of brave that say it’s dubious, but I think it does a very good job. Brave search has its own crawler, which makes it independent, and there’s no tracking.

Brave, on the other hand, uses its own search engine, and is self-sufficient. It doesn’t need Google to exist. It just needs a few small (non-targeted) ads in its browser. And you can disable them if you really don’t want to support brave.
