The Privacy Dad: Privacy Tools Are Not Worth the Hassle

I strongly disagree with this. I think you are falling into the trap of a black and white, all or nothing maximalist definition of privacy.

Privacy was in many meaningful ways the norm–for nearly everyone–until very recently. Most people are not trying to be Edward Snowden, they just want to regain the privacy lost over the past few decades. And that should be something that is accessible to everyone (and doesn’t involve “a society of ghosts”)
