Our Kitchen PC is about to be upgraded, which is basically a web browser, LibreOffice desktop. ProtonMail, Drive and VPN will be priority apps. This PC has been running Linux Mint which I focus on making it very Windows like to the point the family really does not know they are on a linux machine.
I have a tiny PC which runs Windows 11 and it is a minimum installation with minimum software. Same set up with Proton Mail, Drive and VPN nice and simple.
