In June 2023, we were excited to launch Proton Pass, our identity manager and one of the most requested services from our community.
But launching Proton Pass was only the first step on our long journey, and we know the only way forward is to take note of your feedback and continually improve the product. Building the first encrypted identity manager wasn’t easy, but we’re confident that with our experience in creating end-to-end encrypted, privacy-first services, we’ll be able to add more and more features to Proton Pass in the coming months.
We’ve been asked several times about what’s next for Proton Pass. Today, we’d like to share with you a short-term roadmap of what you can expect in the coming quarters. We also have longer-term roadmaps that we’ll share with you soon.

Well, still no passkeys, so now we have to hope it will come in Q1 2024 maybe?
Your optimism is admirable

I want to use Proton Pass, but I’m going to have waited until they are done.

One thing that’s REALLY needed for me is an Identities feature. Whether it’s my own, a relatives, or an alias, It’s a feature (of Bitwarden) I use quite often. It would be even better if they could somehow tie that into their SimpleLogin alias’ too.
An Identity manager would be great if it worked. I would like to see a real example of this working before I invest my time.
My identity manager is still in KeePass. One folder for a pseudonymity, and entries for accounts within. IronVest and Proton are systems that I consider working in and I just can’t consider moving away from one keepass file. My system is not seamless and with out flaws, takes time to manage. Throwing out way to many negatives in one post, sorry. I need to see how this could benefit me.
