Some important context…the Techlore forum is hosted by ourselves and costs money to host. We’ve migrated away from free services like Discord to try and offer everything in-house with better privacy and an experience that better aligns with what we envision a community to be—productive & free of big tech.
We started the Techlorian club as a way to:
- Keep this forum hosted for free for all of you - since it costs us money to run
- Showcase your support for Techlore and this great community with a fancy badge!
- Offer an alternative to Patreon!
- Give people exclusive perks like access to our private Signal group (getting close to 100 members!)
We didn’t know how many people were going to join and we’ve been blown away by how many of you have been so awesome to support what we’re doing
