Thank you!
I didn’t know about that Syncthing app on iOS. TIL.
Clarifications/More finds:
- What’s the difference between “Source-available” and the more understandable “open source” - referring to MEGA.
- Why is Proton Docs not included under “Notes, doc, and photos” - Proton Drive works really well for it. Yes, Ente is more dedicated for photos but PD does work in a “pinch”.
- Since you are recommending some of the proprietary apps/services given their reputation in the industry - may I suggest/propose you consider Koofr for cloud storage. They are very privacy forward and also encourage using RClone or Cryptomator themselves.
- In some places you have mentioned specific OS under the app/service where it’s available and in some you have not. For example: under rethinkDNS, you didn’t mention Android only so it implies its available for all platforms (like it shows under AdGuard)
Edit: in other words, it feels like there is a non standard manner in which you are mentioning the number of different platforms each app is available on. This is just a regular comment/opinion based on observation as I am seeing the entire page. Not necessarily an issue, but just saying. Or perhaps it’s only me seeing it this way.
