This is off topic, but I really hate using multiple browsers, so I wish there was one with enough compartmentalization to make this unnecessary. I think Brave’s forgetful browsing has been really tremendous in making this possible, but it’s not quite enough to rival firefox multi-account containers yet.

Yeah but with multiple windows. My problem with Brave isn’t that it can’t be compartmentalized, but that this can’t be done with tabs like with Firefox. To me, opening multiple windows is as inconvenient as opening multiple browsers.

Brave’s “Forgetful Browsing” was in part inspired by a popular and officially recommended (read: vetted) Firefox extension called Cookie Autodelete. If forgetful browsing is the only thing you feel you are lacking with your current setup, you may want to consider an extension like that.

Do note, that some knowledgeable people don’t consider forgetful browsing type features necessary (in Firefox) due to dFPI (which is enabled if you are using ETP strict mode (which you should be)).
