it is the DRM Windows API thing. That’s how signal is Able to make recall not see the signal messages.
If they had any other way, Microsoft could like Nyx speculates, someday just take it off and reveal the signal messages, with DRM, Microsoft would be risking legal trouble and therefore just can’t take the band aid off like that.
