UPDATE: Proton finally got back to me today and gave me a refund. Thanks for the responses everyone.
ProtonVPN has been unresponsive to my email and I tried posting on Reddit (since they aren’t on Mastadon anymore) but they won’t approve my post after two days. I requested a refund after a few days of using their VPN because it wasn’t allowing me to bypass a geo block for a website. They offer a 30 day money back guarantee but I guess they won’t honor it. Everyone seems to praise Proton as one of the best, but my experience hasn’t been very good. They initially replied to my first email and wanted to know which websites I was visiting. After I told them I didn’t want to disclose which websites I was visiting, they have been completely unresponsive to my emails for the past few days.
Give it a few more days - they are often slammed with customer support. Wait it out for now.
Okay, I’ll give it a few more days. Thanks.
Also, I don’t know this for sure but they may not be active and working weekends so that could also be another reason for the delay.

i have proton unlimited,i have trouble with my desktop mail app but i got a response within a few hours.
sometimes it can take a little longer because they are busy answering mail
This is just my personal opinion and I do not wont to offend you or do you any harm, but please give proton just some time.
but they won’t approve my post after two days.
To be honest two days aren’t that long for a business. It isn’t good, and they can do better, but in the wild world there are way more companies that will let you wait longer.

And here starts my problem. It is your right, and you can request a refund, but it isn’t good. It will not fix the problem or help you/the devs behind proton.
For a software developer it is pretty frustrating that at the smallest issue people start requesting refunds.
Work with the team together and try to fix the difficulty instead of just grab your money and go.
