Private digital wallet

I don’t suppose there’s a privacy-focused digital wallet out there (like Samsung, Google, or Apple Pay). I suppose by it’s nature this isn’t private and one of the main reason those services would be offered is so those companies can aggregate data. But it was so nice to be able to pay with Samsung Pay, when I forgot my credit card and cash, before I moved to GrapheneOS! I guess it’s part of the tradeoff. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

One of the other nice things about a digital wallet is that it’s much more secure (as far as I know). I have different cards I need at different shops for businesses and personal. It’s a bit of a risk for me to carry all these cards. Of course I could be more responsible and aware, but I have so much to think about already!

Anyone have any good alternatives or partial strategies?

Apple Wallet is privacy-focused, because it stores all your information locally on your device. Google Pay stores your card information on Google’s servers. I’m not aware of a private Android alternative off the top of my head.
