Do you know any reputable privacy resources, whether they be YouTube channels, blogs, sites like Privacy Guides, or something else in other languages? I’m particularly looking for content in Spanish, but if you know of resources in other languages please share as well! I think these will be valuable for folks who want to protect their privacy but don’t know enough English to wade through English language content.
Saludos!!
I guess we all need a translate plug in for Discourse to expand engagement with people of other languages.
@Henry @Jonah - is this even possible? Would be a good idea.
I honestly just use an extension/app like the DeepL lol.
That’s a good one. But I was more asking/hoping for an embed of that on the platform directly.
Shoutout to Red en Defensa de los Derechos Digitales

and their Guía de Defensa contra la Violencia Digital:
I checked Privacy Guides just to see if they had options in other languages, and it seems like they do. Looking at the Spanish version it actually looks competently done. Awesome resource to keep in mind!
AFAIK, in Russian there’s no strictly privacy resources. All strictly privacy/security info is scattered and fragmented among channels/blogs/sites dedicated to either of or all of cybersecurity, hacking, digital rights, censorship circumvention or simply tech guides and tips. Or channels/blogs of those internet anonymooses in Guy Fawkes’ masks, you know the type.
I would like to find some dedicated resources for sure.
