Recently I’ve discovered the foss SeriesGuide app for android, and I love it. It allows you to track movies/tv-shows and all. I want to be able to sync this data to my PC/laptop since thats where I watch movies the most.
It allows for connecting to Trakt.tv, but I dont know how private this is. I don’t care about them knowing what movies I watched/wanna watch. How much data can they collect when connecting through a third party app? Let me know your thoughts
Their CURRENT Privacy Policy is very easy to read, so why not take a look.
Something to note is that they DO share, but not sell your Personal Information with third parties (including advertisers). They also use Google Analytics, Snigel (partnered with Google), and Cloudflare, for their service.
Having a quick read, I don’t think they’re privacy friendly, and would not recommend them. That being said, as of right now, I don’t know of anything better.
I used that too but then i switched to showly you can check that up
