Just to clarify, I followed in deep this topic and I can confirm that Italian privacy regulator didn’t ban Chat gpt, It just bring the focus on some suspicious practices and ask how collected data are use. Open.ai didn’t want cooperate and Open.ai itself decide to suspend the service in Italy.
Wouldn’t surprise me if other Privacy Regulator will decide to make some question to open.ai.
I can attach sources for what i said but it’s mainly in italian.
