Need help to save Photos

I wanna save Photos on the cloud, confused as to which services to use:

  1. Proton Drive
  2. Filen
  3. Mega

Which would be the most secure/private out of the lot?

These 3 options are awesome, maybe at the exception of MEGA with their recent vulnerability. I would recommend reading this awesome thread here :

Proton Drive is good but thereā€™s no automatic camera uploads or a dedicated Photos tab to see all your photos at a glance.

Filen is great as they have these features Proton Drive doesnā€™t. Be aware that Filen is very new in that space and it has some security critisicm in the past but as of today it should be fixed.

MEGA is good but yeah, it has this vulnerability which has been fixed. It has automatic camera upload and a dedicated Photos tab.

Now, there are other options which may be better than these 3 services.

I am actually looking for a free backup if you have any, trusted filen cuz 10gb free + more on inviting friends but now you said this thread I am scared

Welcome to the forum @sumoshed89. Setting up a Proton Drive is something I worked on last week. This can be a great parallel task to working on other options. If Proton Drive does not working out the best in your work flow you always have it set up for other uses.

Personally I use MEGA. It works flawessly, it has automatic photo backup, great app and web app and event browser extension which improve security.
I think for a normal user is completely fine.
