Hey @Jonah,
Do you know why the permalinks to Techlore videos on Neat.Tube changed? This broke embeds ![]()
I just had someone inform me that my embed of Techlore’s BusKill video is broken on this page:
The page includes the following code, which was working before:
<iframe title="BusKill: Secure Your Laptop in Seconds" width="100%" height="100%" src="https://neat.tube/videos/embed/d9712db9-c999-4c80-a750-8abf6b7494da?title=0&warningTitle=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" sandbox="allow-same-origin allow-scripts allow-popups allow-forms" style="position: absolute; inset: 0px;"></iframe>
I also included a direct link to the video, which is now 404:
I manually browsed the Techlore channel on Neat.Tube, and I found the video’s URL has changed:
Obviously I could just update the article, but that’s not a long-term solution. I need to find out why it changed and make sure it doesn’t happen again.
Do you know why the Neat.Tube PeerTube instance changed its permalinks? And will it happen again?
