Minimum requirements for KYC?

I am starting of using a Payment Masking method but it requires KYC. I give the pics of my ID heavenly censored. But I can’t get verified. I did the censoring both in gimp, blacking out amounts of what I considered unnecessary data and adding a watermark grid. I also censored the Id by cutting paper bit and putting them over the unnecessary data and giving them a direct pic.

I have failed a lot of times and before just giving them my uncensored ID, I though I’d ask here if anyone else has some experience with this?

My thread model isn’t that high, I just like minimizing the data I give.

To blackout certain parts of you ID is always tricky since you have to know which data is needed for the service you wanna use.
If its just for age verification you can most likely blackout everything except name and birth year but in case of a Payment Masking service they most likely need more since they have to comply with banking laws > a lot of them even hop onto a video call with you (via one of those awful 3rd parties) to verify that you’re actually the person on your ID.

So, a lot of the KYC ID checking can be automated. If an image does not have a minimum percentage match, it’ll automatically fail. Suffice to say, blacking out details will make it go below that percentage figure. This is why people have bypassed these checks with other people’s ID, or decent fake ones. It might only get checked by a human if your account gets flagged.
