I’m a big fan of https://social.lol since its a paid instance (making it sustainable and someone is actually taking care of it) and their block list seams to be reasonable. Self hosting one is also an option (if tinkering with everything to get it to work is not your cup of tea there are also 1 click options like https://masto.host)
