I’m not going to share my opinion on minorities in India and how the government treats them for fear of getting sniped, but I will say the lack of free speech and the willingness of Indians to give their rights up for some fucked up sense of security is worrying.
Indians in the past have stood up for their rights against the British with protests against the rowlatt act. I guess having the leaders be brown and in Delhi instead of Westminster is all it really took.
The situation isn’t even really unique to India. We’re all idiots.
