Don’t really need control/customization perse. Or analytics.

Mainly want:

  1. ad and tracker blocking/general web privacy from surveillance capitalism (as well as blocking malware and other threats)
  2. block all Apple telemetry
  3. stop my ISP from seeing my web traffic

I wasn’t aware that NetShield isn’t available on the free plan. Thanks for pointing that out. Will have to check and confirm that. That changes things for sure!

Re: Mullvad DNS I am talking about Mullvad DNS inside the Mullvad Browser settings, not their secure DNS service. There is a setting to turn on DNS over HTTPS, at various levels of protection and use their DNS.

But I have no idea with Proton VPN on which DNS is used when browsing in the Mullvad browser. I assume it uses Mullvad’s DNS.
