Unfortunately, I don’t believe it’s possible, and even if it is, it’s not recommended. CalyxOS (and GrapheneOS) both only support Pixel devices on the grounds of security. You’ll have to purchase a Pixel device if you want to use that ROM or you’ll have to find something else for your current phone. I know it sucks, but that’s just how it is right now.
Seems like Divest OS may be working for that phone. Could be worth checking out. Privacy Guides recommends Divest OS when GrapheneOS isn’t an option.
https://divestos.org/index.php?page=devices&base=LineageOS&golden=false
but is it safe to use? i searched about it, but there is no videos on youtube reviewing it.
or any articles, so I’m afraid that I will face problems that wont get help to resolve.
and what do think about /e/?
Never judge a project from the no of YouTube videos made on it.
Honestly, it’s the worst option. The security is wayyyy worse than Stock Android and things aren’t better on the usability front either.
Privacy guides has a really through check up process to avoid recommending insecure and spyware apps. You can trust their recommendations.
Was going to link to Privacy Guides, yep. Here’s what they have to say about it. They recommend GrapheneOS over DivestOS if that’s an option, but in your case it’s not.
To be honest, lack of information about a project would make me wait and see so I understand @xQader’s apprehension. Project size could also make me worry about how good support could be for it. However, it seems like a legit project to look into. I also wish there was more content around it because it can indicate more eyes of seen it as well.
