How governments should improve privacy and security

Yeah I’d say it’s hard to say no to what Ale says, looking from a principle-first perspective. The principle being: if you can’t verify your trust, and you still really want to protect your privacy from government surveillance, then you should assume the worst situation within the limits of your current knowledge of the situation.

But from a mental health perspective (one most people can afford taking since they aren’t high threat model), assuming the worst will unnecessarily reduce your convenience while not actually needing full government surveillance protection. So that is understandable too.
