Graphene os e sim google services

Hello,

so i decided to buy a pixel phone and install graphene os on it. For Voip numbers i wanted to use jmp chat and for data silent link. The problem graphene os with e-sim works only with google services. I‘m thinking about maybe to buy a sim card in croatia and use it only for data. It works in Austria.

you can install the e-sim and then factory reset your phone > the e-sim will still work without google services (or at least it should)

You only need play services to activate the eSIM. You can do this with grapheneOS as well, if you use sandboxed play services and you enable privileged eSIM management. Once you have your eSIM set up, you can remove the play services entirely.

(to make things easier you can also use play services with a custom user)
