EDS Lite or DroidFS

I have some important files stored in my phone but they don’t contain any personal/sensitive information. I just want them encrypted.

EDS Lite allows to create veracrypt containers but has a very low SDK (28) while DroidFS can’t open more than one container but is frequently updated (SDK 32).

I’m currently using both and I just wanted to know how risky it is to use a low SDK application for encrypting files? Should I stop using EDS Lite? What do ya’ll think is the best course of action to make?

EDS Lite is outdated and the last update was in 2021
