Creating Privacy.com Virtual Cards for every merchant

If I use the virtual card service provided by privacy.com, should I create a virtual card for each of my cards for each merchant?

For example, on Amazon, should I create a virtual card for each of my cards that I use exclusively on Amazon? Or is that overkill?

I’m just curious if it would be perfectly fine to just have a virtual card front-end for each of my cards that I use for every merchant instead of making a unique one for each.

My threat model as far as my finances is that I want to protect my cards from being exposed in a data breach or be stolen by some kind of fake card reader at a random store.

Yes, for privacy.com

Privacy Virtual Cards lock to the first merchant they’re used at and cannot be used at other merchants.
This way, we help prevent fraudulent activity before it happens, in case someone steals your virtual card information from a merchant and tries to authorize transactions all over the internet.
