If you had to go with one of the “big” companies like Apple, Google, or Microsoft, which one would be the best for privacy in terms of the services they provide and their overall philosophy or values?

If I was forced to chose I would just go for the cheapest and use Cryptomator to encrypt all my data before uploading.

Apple wins hands down. Google and Microsoft offer nothing comparable to Apple’s Advanced Data Protection, which provides end-to-end encryption for most data stored in iCloud.

Apple is the only “big” company that offers end-to-end encryption for the cloud services right? Does Google’s suite or Microsoft’s suite offer end-to-end encryption?

Google has E2EE for drive and mail if you pay

I hope they integrate E2EE for those who uses GAPP (Google Advanced Protection Program)

I would guess so as well. Google Firebase is on almost every web page so…
