On ios I would reccomend orion as it supports mozilla and chrome extensions! And about exceptions I would like to add that if you add one on safari it’s automatically added to any other browser, and for me it’s okay to switch browser to remove lockdown mode from a link.
I use ArsTechnica as it has lots of news all around the world and then some blogs like Proton one, Qubes, malwarebytes etc for more specific IT info
