Any website to check which Filter List I'm using?

If browser comes with build-in adblocker with filter lists.
How can I check how many and which filter lists are being used by default? Is there any website to check that?

Also if I add custom filter list, how can I check if it’s working properly?

Any help regarding this would be appreciated. Thanks:)

What browser are you using?

Brave, Cromite, Vivaldi

I’m not aware that there would be any websites that could tell which filter lists you’re using, so you need to do the research yourself. This is what I have found:

  • Brave enables EasyList, EasyPrivacy, filters from uBlock Origin, and its own lists by default.
  • Vivaldi enables EasyList, DuckDuckGo Tracker Radar, and ASB anti-circumvention lists by default. It also enables “Allow ads from our partners” by default. EDIT: These filter lists are only enabled by default if you choose to block both ads and trackers when setting up the browser.
  • With Cromite, it seems to be using Adblock Plus filter lists by default.

However, I’m not sure how to check if custom filter lists are working properly. Maybe someone else can help you with that.

In the case of Brave browser, you can type :

brave://adblock

to see which Filter lists are enabled by default. You could also consider adding your own filter lists, by using the Add Filter List via URL option .

https://filterlists.com/ contains a really great compiled list of all the ad-blocking and privacy lists, which you could add to Brave.
