I subscribed to this yesterday and am shocked at how perfect it seems so far.
E2EE, lifetime option, habit tracking, Things-like task management, support for different workflows like eisenhower matrix, etc… journaling, notes. It’s just too good lol. So well designed. Anyway I’m still using Todoist but I’m trying to slowly use Lunatask for more things and see if I can move over permanently. If I can, lifetime purchase for me.
BTW: Lunatask on iOS w/ Lockdown mode is broken. @Jordan has the workaround of just disabling lockdown mode when logging in and then re-enabling. The encryption key is what causes issues.
Update, heard back from Lunatask support:
You are right – this is indeed caused by lockdown mode. I’m personally not that familiar with that technology. Is it possible to give exception to Lunatask to use WebAssembly? Argon2 key derivation function, part of encryption toolchain used for password hashing, is implemented in WebAssembly and WebAssembly support is by default disabled in lockdown mode.
So yeah disabling/re-enabling seems to be the current option on iOS /iPadOS with lockdown
