Any idea how to block domain's globally on android?

You know how on desktop you can use Safing portmaster to block Domains and then globally and then set “allow” rules locally per app when needed.

i am looking for the same feature on android. so far i found none. any suggestions?

RethinkDNS is the best app for that:

Though it takes up the VPN slot.

Pcapdroid has a firewall feature which is by far the best no-root firewall app for android , I’ve used so far (also open source). Its even better than netguard or tracker control in sense that it shows you detailed level of device traffic , much like wireshark shows you on desktop does. Though its a paid feature but worth the convenience it gives you in blocking domains, ips and apps.
It does also has the “whitelist feature” which will block all connections unless you allow them.

I second RethinkDNS. One of the best apps ever. Has a firewall, DNS resolver, local blocklists support, can whitelist/blacklist specific domains, SOCKS/HTTP proxy support, Orbot support, and you can also connect a Wireguard profile to use as a VPN. It’s literally THE BEST all-in-one solution you could ask for.

ok so i decided to try out Rethink DNS
i installed on my mobile but i cant find the Blacklist/Whitelist settings.

any help?

Go to Firewall → IP & Port rules → Domain Rules → Tap on the plus icon on the bottom right.
There you can add your own rules and either allow or block them.

If you go DNS → On-device blocklists in the “Rules” section → Configure,
you can choose which blocklists to use. Don’t forget to tap red “Disabled” to enable them.

I am not sure what you meant by it ? . Do you mean we can use the firewall feature as well as connect to a Wireguard VPN server through the invizible prp app. I tried to checkout the app but i couldn’t find a way to setup this. (firewall + vpn) . Would be interested in knowing if there was a way.
(note - i am already aware of the use of work profile to run two vpn slots and use firewall in one and vpn in another but its inconvenient to use can leads to leakages.)

You can install AdGuard on your Android. It will block ads and some domains that you want.

It is paid but you can google patched version.

Look at this topic to figure out how to use Rethink with Wireguard VPN.

This is not linked to Invizible Pro. Most VPN providers, like ProtonVPN, support both the Wireguard and OpenVPN protocols. So if you want to use the Wireguard or OpenVPN client without the provider’s own client, you can choose to download a VPN server profile and add it to the above mentioned clients. A profile like this is what you can add to RethinkDNS’s app to route your traffic on a per-app basis through the VPN. @attempty’s reply mentions this.
