Yeah I like this idea and it’s more or less what I’m giving my friend to.
Tbh I still wish people distanced from Snapchat, Instagram, TikTok and others and this is the thing I’ve been trying to ask @Henry yesterday on stream.
If there are people who are insistent on their messaging platform or can’t open up to them, Would using something like beeper as backup messaging work while primarily using signal?
I have a few more plans to go about getting people to use my messaging of choice which is signal but I also do wonder because I understand that this would essentially be putting my hands up if that happens but if I’m gonna do it I’m gonna try it in a privacy preserving manner possible. (not at first but it’s also where I’ve been considering when it comes to threat modeling), What do people think about this?
