The worst VPN experience I ever had was when I was reviewing FastestVPN. I didn’t “remember” my FastestVPN credentials when I logged in to the client on Windows, and I force quit the app processes to test out the kill switch functionality.

Well, the kill switch worked, stayed enabled, and then when I re-opened the client I was logged out. (Again…didn’t save/remember the creds!) Unfortunately, you can’t access the program settings to disable the kill switch without being logged in, and the internet wouldn’t work because the kill switch was still enabled, so you can’t login. Long story short, after days of troubleshooting to get internet back up on the machine, and reaching out to their support, I had to completely reinstall windows. Nothing would make internet work again!

My worst VPN experience ever.

I currently use IVPN.
