I knew I’d be doing this eventually once I went through the account non-age verification process.
The name’s Nëïgsëndöïg Cöcülës (no, that’s not my legal nym, obviously), and on the internet, I’ve gone by this name (and variations thereof) for the almost a decade (it’ll be so in December). I’m a no-nonsense, but diagnosed autistic YouTuber with about 4 years of experience come September 3, and own the following channels (one is actually narrated by my former editor, who also has autism).
Those channels are CoculesNation (focusing on gaming and Linux), [at]Neigsendoig (focusing on my podcast and music, but also Linux for that too), and Cocules Reddit Readings (an Am I The Genius-inspired project that’s narrated now by my former editor).
I do intend, however, on finding a mirror for these should YouTube become unusable for me (it won’t, because my former editor and I are over 18). I used Odysee in the past, but that’s Cloudflared, and I didn’t have any people watching on that platform.
On top of that, I’m really only on YouTube, Matrix (I use Nitro Chat), Nerimity (a Free Software Discord clone made by Superkitten) and a decentralized protocol that isn’t BlueSky (due to AI slop moderation) or Mastodon (though I might set one up soon for CISN and my former editor). I use a lot of forums as well, as I’d rather those than Discord.
Otherwise, I’m currently a user of CachyOS (and so is my former editor), which is an Arch-based distribution for gamers (to those who don’t know what it is). Think of this as Arch’s Nobara Project. Normally, I rock with i3wm and Cinnamon, though I don’t want anything to do with Wayland (despite it being shoved down our throats big time, but I digress). Of course, I try to lock down what I can, and use as many local-first applications as possible. Granted, I’ve used Linux ever since I built my PC in 2020 (it’ll be five years on August 20).
I do, however, come with a recommendation with someone whose work I try to apply, and that’s a blogger who goes by the name of GHOST, with his blog, Untraceable Digital Dissident, and I’d highly recommend it. It’s a no-nonsense blog for privacyphiles, and there’s no anonymity LARPing here (those are two different things). That blog is the reason why I use Obsidian (obsessively…).
Edit: I forgot to mention that I also dabble into numerology and gematria, as I use it to plan whatever I do with my content creation journey. Some of you could also benefit from it, and I’d be happy to help with that.
If y’all have anymore questions, I’d be happy to answer them here or elsewhere. I’d be glad to at least attempt to open myself reasonably.
